The Nerazzurri sporting director speaking to Premium Sport prior to Spal vs. Inter: "We have a strong squad and no one is guaranteed a starting spot"

FERRARA – Inter Sporting Director Piero Ausilio was interviewed ahead of kick-off in Spal vs. Inter. “We need to go again from the last 30 minutes of our match against Roma, that’s the Inter that we want to see on the pitch.”

Inter’s interest in Pastore? “He sees Inter as an opportunity and that’s a pleasure, there’s a feeling between us. That said, there’s still a lot to evaluate between us and his club Paris Saint-Germain. When we pick a player, we pick him because we’re convinced about his importance for our project.”

Speaking further on issues linked to the transfer market, Ausillio added: “Inter has a strong squad and no one is guaranteed a starting spot here. Some important players have arrived here of late, such as Rafinha and Lisandro Lopez. Over the final few days of the window, we will be making any necessary evaluations with our coach. Sturridge? Going forward we will make some evaluations with Spalletti. We think we already have what we need up front. As for Brozovic, he will not be leaving.”
