The defender's comments after defeat at Genoa: "Result down to individual incidents but we need to regain our attitude from the start of the season."

Genoa - Defender Andrea Ranocchia, wearing the captain's armband tonight, analysed Inter's 2-0 defeat to Genoa at Marassi. "We tried to overturn a scoreline that came about through very unlucky individual incidents - as shown by the fact that Handanovic didn't have a save to make - but we couldn't manage it.", said the defender, "We're hoping that this bad spell will finish as soon as possible. We need to get back on track right from the next match because there's still a long way to go in the season. Now's the time to show desire and character. There are still plenty of points to play for and matches to contest, but we need to rediscover our attitude from earlier in the season to reach our objective."
