Inter vs. Crotone: Stats and Trivia

MILAN – Inter are returning to San Siro for the league match against the Pitagorici. In collaboration with Opta, here are the stats and pieces of trivia for the match on Saturday evening at the Stadio Meazza. 

There have only been three prior meetings in Serie A, with Inter winning two and losing one. The Nerazzurri have scored in every Serie A match against Crotone (six goals in total, an average of two per game). Inter are unbeaten at San Siro against all Calabrian sides in Serie A. In 17 matches, there have been six draws and eleven wins, including a current streak of five in a row. 

The first of Milan Skriniar’s three goals in Serie A came in the reverse fixture. In the past two league fixtures,João Cancelo was the Inter player who made the most touches (212) and delivered the most crosses (13). Mauro Icardi is one goal away from 100 in Serie A. Should he score in this match, he’ll become the youngest player to achieve the feat and take the record which is currently held by José Altafini.

Luciano Spalletti has won all three of his matches as a Serie A coach against Crotone. His teams have scored eight goals against the Calabrian side, conceding none.
