Spalletti receives ‘Albano Aramini’ award - A city for Sport

EMPOLI - Empoli’s most important awards ceremony took place last night at the La Perla cinema, with Nerazzurri coach Luciano Spalletti receiving the prize for “Empolose personality whose sporting achievements have helped spread the city’s image.”

“Every prize fills you with happiness, although if one comes from your hometown then it’s even more reason to be proud,” said Spalletti to the press. The coach also spoke of the team’s current form: “We have important potential and if we use all of our skills and abilities then we can be a match for anyone.

“Skriniar has quality and character. He demonstrates these things constantly and he takes important decisions in crucial moments.”
