An MRI scan on the defender revealed grade one damage to a quadriceps muscle in his right thigh


MILAN - An MRI scan was performed on Andrea Ranocchia today at the Istituto Clinico Humanitas in Rozzano after the defender withdrew early from training yesterday. The tests revealed grade one damage to the rectus femoris muscle in his right thigh. 

Ranocchia will be evaluated again after the league stops for the international break.
