A goal from Colidio settled the big match on Saturday, with the Nerazzurri now moving up to 53 points in the league standings

VINOVO - Stefano Vecchi’s Under-19 side picked up a crucial victory in Primavera 1 TIM on Saturday, overcoming Juventus on matchday 26 of the regular season. A great first-half goal from Facundo Colidio helped the Nerazzurri in securing all three points in their fight for the Final Four.

It was a balanced first half in Vinovo, with Juventus having the first chance of the game through Nicolussi. Pissardo saved well to put the ball out for a corner, before Vogliacco then had a headed chance from the following set-piece. Inter soon responded and missed a good opportunity to take the lead after 30 minutes, with Pissardo then producing another top save to keep out Del Sole. Just moments later, the Nerazzurri then found the opener. With the first half entering added time, Colidio met a fine assist from Schirò and made no mistake in putting Inter in front.

Del Canto’s side pushed hard for an equaliser after the interval, although they were prevented consistently by an impressive Pissardo. As for the visitors, Brignoli and Rover both missed chances to double the Nerazzurri’s lead, with the game finally finishing 1-0 and pushing Inter up to 53 points in the league standings.
