Bitter defeat for Stefano Vecchi's Under-19s who fell to the Biancocelesti on matchday 27 of the Primavera 1 TIM season

SESTO SAN GIOVANNI - At the Stadio Breda in Sesto San Giovanni, Lazio left with the points on matchday 27 of the Primavera 1 TIM season. After going ahead through Rover, the Biancocelesti came back via goals from Marchesi, Aliaj and Lomba Neto. Focus now turns to the next match against Napoli with three fixtures remaining in the regular season.

After a tight start, the Nerazzurri created a chance in the 17th minute when Colidio set up Zaniolo but the shot was too central. A few minutes later, Inter went close again through Rover who fired wide. The bar then denied Inter after some spectacular play between Zaniolo, Colidio and Rover. The lead deservedly arrived in the 32nd minute when Rover made the most of a perfect assist from Zaniolo and beat the onrushing Alia. Inter looked to be in control but Lazio levelled just two minutes later. Marchesi made the most of a rebound to beat Pissardo.

The second half began with the Nerazzurri on the attack. Schirò played a one-two with Gavioli and fired at the far post but pulled it wide. Lazio responded with Pissardo ready to save from Djassio.

The substitute Belkheir almost made an impact but his left-foot shot was inaccurate. It was clear that the Nerazzurri were controlling play while the visitors looked to strike on the break. This worked out for them as Aliaj beat Pissardo with a great left-foot strike. A few minutes later, Stefano Vecchi went for it with Adorante coming on after Belkheir and Merola had already joined the action. Lazio extended their lead with Lomba Neto beating Pissardo with a powerful strike to the near post. The final assault on goal didn’t produce the desired result and it finished 1-3.
