The Nerazzurri Coach after Torino vs. Inter: "We need to accept how this match went and look forward"

TURIN - After an almost unbelievable match where Inter dominated but lost to Torino, Luciano Spalletti commented on the lunchtime kick-off at the Stadio Olimpico Grande Torino. "There are times when things don’t go as you would like, even when you keep trying. It was a good game, an undeserved defeat even if we were less tidy in moving the ball around compared to the match in Genoa and we also allowed a few too many counterattacks. We should have stifled their counterattacks more to keep a better balance. It’s a shame not to bring home the three points."

"For long spells of the match, we did well but small things went against us. Perisic was unlucky for the goal, he did incredibly well to get back and then the ball fell to them. We need to know how to accept the way in which this match played out and move on. Borja Valero in for Rafinha? Rafinha had been out for a long time and then with three matches in a week, he was a bit low on energy. Borja came on and did the right things last match. He did fine, he pressed a lot and that meant he was a bit less composed but he’s a player who can always make an important contribution when he’s called upon."

"At this stage of the season, points are worth double, so we must go again straight away by winning in Begamo," said Spalletti to wrap up.
