Winner of seven titles with the Nerazzurri, the Grande Inter side's No. 10 is today turning 83

MILAN - During nine years with the Nerazzurri, he made a remarkable impression on the history of Inter. Having won the 1960 Ballon d’Or as a Barcelona player, he was then signed by Angelo Moratti just a few months later for around 300 million lire. He immediately became a pillar of Helenio Herrera’s Grande Inter side; a focal point of pure wisdom out on the pitch. He made a total of 328 appearances for the Nerazzurri, scoring 54 goals and winning three Scudetti, two European Cups and two Intercontinental Cups. Following retirement, he became a coach and enjoyed three different spells on the Inter bench (1974-75, 1992 and 1995).

On behalf of FC Internazionale Milano, Inter Forever and all Interisti, we’d like to wish Luis Luisito Suarez a very happy 83rd birthday!
