Steven Zhang attends UEFA Club Competitions Committee meeting

MILAN – Appointed earlier this year by the European Club Association (ECA), Steven Zhang has taken part in his first official UEFA Club Competitions Committee meeting in Kiev ahead of tonight’s UEFA Champions League Final. Also in attendance was Chief Football Operations Officer (CFOO) Giovani Gardini.

The UEFA Club Competitions Committee discusses issues relating to UEFA's club competitions, amongst other things, the committee draws up recommendations regarding possible modifications to the existing competitions and to the regulations governing these competitions, assists in the process of selecting the venues for the UEFA club competitions finals and proposes models for the distribution of club competition revenues. Subsequently, the committee submits advice, proposals and recommendations to the UEFA Executive Committee for decision.
