KALININGRAD - Croatia got off to a positive start at the 2018 World Cup with a 2-0 win over Nigeria in their Group D fixture thanks to an Etebo own goal in the 32nd minute and Luka Modric’s penalty in the 71st minute to wrap things up.
IvanPerisic played from the start for his country while MarceloBrozovic replaced Kramaric on the hour before picking up a booking in the 89th minute.
