Politano: "We could've done better"

SION - Following the Nerazzurri’s defeat in the Trophée de Tourbillon, MatteoPolitano spoke exclusively to Inter TV and live on Facebook: “These last few days have been very intense and you could see that out on the pitch. We should’ve done better, but they start their season very soon. We must put the work in and keep thinking about our preparation.

“Perhaps we didn’t move the ball too well in certain situations and maybe we could’ve done better with a bit more clarity of mind. Tiredness forces you into mistakes even when it seems simple. It is only normal for things to come together in time. I’ve settled really well here with my teammates and the staff. We’ve got a good group and have all the prerequisites to enjoy a great campaign.”
