The Nerazzurri were drawn as the fourth seed and will first play in January 2019 in the last 16

MILAN - The draw was held yesterday for the 2018-19 Coppa Italia. Thanks to last year’s league position, Luciano Spalletti’s Inter will start in the last 16. The Nerazzurri were drawn as the fourth seed ahead of Lazio (5), Roma (6), Juventus (7), Napoli (8) and behind Milan (1), Atalanta (2) and Fiorentina (3). Inter will first play on 13 January 2019 against a side that gets through the fourth eliminatory round on 5 December 2018. On one side of the draw, the sides that Inter could meet are Monopoli, Piacenza, Cittadella and Empoli with Carrarese, Imolese, Benevento and Udinese on the other side.
