The former German striker who won a UEFA Cup and Supercoppa Italiana with Inter turns 54 today
MILAN - Signed from Stuttgart in the summer of 1989, he was one part of Inter’s famous German trio along with Lothar Matthaus and Andy Brehme. In three seasons with the Nerazzurri, he scored 40 goals in 123 matches in all competitions, playing an important role in a UEFA Cup and Supercoppa Italiana win.
