The Croatian striker after the game: “We now have three points, we want to progress from this group but road ahead still long”

MILAN – At the end of a thrilling game, Ivan Perisic spoke to Sky Sport: "It’s a very important victory, next up is the PSV away game followed by the two games against Barcelona. The first game was very important for us and I think we did well, we fought until the end of the game and showed a lot of character."

"After conceding the goal, we tried everything in the last 20 minutes and eventually ended up winning. Half of our players had never played in the Champions League before and therefore it wasn’t easy. The important thing is that we won, and now we can concentrate on Serie A and the game against Sampdoria."

“Yes, it was a very important game. We now have three points and we want to progress from this group. We’ve still got a long road ahead of us and we have to work hard and progress, taking it game by game."
