Adorante equalises for Inter after Benedetti's opener. Inter at home to Sassuolo next week.

BOGLIASCO – The match between Inter and Sampdoria in Bogliasco finished in a draw. On matchday two of the Primavera 1 TIM season, all the action came in the second half: Benedetti gave Sampdoria the lead in the 54th minute before Adorante equalised five minutes later. After their victory in the opening game against Cagliari, Inter now sit on four points. Their next game will be at home to Sassuolo next Saturday (13:00 CEST).

The opening stages of the game between the two sides were hard-fought: although Inter had more of the ball and tried to take the game to the home team, Sampdoria defended their goal well. The first real effort on goal came from Mulattieri, but his header was weak and too close to Hutvagner, who was able to make a simple save. As the minutes went by Inter grew into the game and had an excellent chance to take the lead through Colidio, but he fired over after excellent work by Burgio. At the end of the first half, Sampdoria also went close, but Benedetti couldn’t quite find the back of the net with a left-footed effort.

At the start of the second half, the hosts once again took aim, with Mpie’s shot in the 53rd minute being pushed behind for a corner by Tintori. From this corner, the hosts took the lead as Benedetti managed to fire past the Nerazzurri goalkeeper. Armando Madonna responded by bringing on Schirò, D'Amico, Merola and Adorante, and it was the latter who got Inter back on level terms: Schirò put a great ball into the area and Adorante headed the ball home after 59 minutes. After this goal, Inter continued to attack, but efforts from Mulattieri, D’Amico and Merola didn’t find their way into the back of the net and the game finished 1-1.
