Under - 17 Serie A and B, Hellas Verona 1 - 1 Inter

VERONA - The rearranged matchday one fixture in the Under-17 league finished 1-1 between Hellas Verona and Inter. The home side took the lead through Yeboah before Sakho equalised at the end.

At the Antistadio Guido Tavellin, it was a hard-fought first half with both sides alert at the back. The deadlock was broken early in the second half by Verona forward Yeboah who made the most of a mistake by the defence to make it 1-0. Inter responded and went on the attack with the equaliser coming at the death with Sakho finishing from Casadei’s assist. Zanchetta’s Under-17s then looked to win it but had to settle for a 1-1 draw.

The Inter Under-17s now have seven points from three matches and will face AC Milan at 10:45 CEST on Sunday at the Suning Youth Development Centre on matchday four.
