The Spanish midfielder after Sunday's derby win: "We put in a great performance"

MILAN - Coming on midway through the first half to replace the injured Nainggolan, BorjaValero was one of the Nerazzurri’s key players during the #DerbyMilano: “Winning this match brings immense joy. We put in a great performance without risking almost practically anything. We had to wait over 90 minutes to get the goal but it wasn’t an issue. It’s not easy to come into a match like this but it went really well. Last year, they threatened us more, but we were better this time. We played with patience, finding space and playing well. Scoring often in the final few minutes? It shows courage. These are three vital points and now we are even more motivated than before.”
