UCL, Miranda: "We have the right qualities to win"

BARCELONA – Along with Mauro Icardi, Joao Miranda spoke at the press conference at Camp Nou on the eve of Barcelona vs. Inter, the Nerazzurri’s third 2018/19 UEFA Champions League group game.

The first questions were about the absence of Lionel Messi: "When it comes to Barcelona, not everything revolves around Messi. They have many great players who can make a difference," said the Brazilian defender. They play great football, but we have the right qualities to win the match. We’ve not come here to be mere spectators. It’s always great to play such fantastic teams."

"Group B is tough," he concluded. "The match against Barcelona is important, we have to get the points because doing so could be so important in terms of qualifying from the group. We have the quality to win and we’ll try to do so, but we know that the group stage doesn’t finish tomorrow."
