Next Generation Inter: 13 Nerazzurri players called up to Italy U - 17/U - 16s

Great number of Elite Academy players called up by Coaches Zoratto and Nunziata for the Italy U-17 and U-16 sides


MILAN -  The Inter Elite Academy has broken a new record with 13 players called up for the Italy Under-17 and Under-16 sides. It’s a great result that pays further testimony to the effort placed into developing youth at Inter.

Christian Dimarco (defender, born 2002), Lorenzo Pirola (defender, born 2002), Riccardo BoscoloChio (midfielder, born 2002), Stefano Cester (midfielder, born 2002), Gaetano Pio Oristanio (midfielder, born 2002) and Sebastiano Esposito (forward, born 2002) have all been called up by Italy Under-17 for the European Championship qualifiers that will take place in Croatia between 25 October and 3 November. Andorra, Armenia and Croatia are the teams in Italy’s group.

Elia Priori (goalkeeper, born 2003), Mattia Zanotti (defender, born 2003), Ramen Cepele (defender, born 2003), Nicolò Radaelli (midfielder, born 2003), Cesare Casadei (midfielder, born 2003), Lorenzo Peschetola (midfielder, born 2003) and Degnand Wilfried Gnonto (forward, born 2003) will be involved for the Azzurri’s Under-16s. They’ve gathered in Abano Terme and Italy already beat Ukraine 4-1 in the first friendly. Today on 25 October, they will face Ukraine again in a second friendly.
