"The results will come once we’ve achieved this," the Nerazzurri tactician today spoke to Inter TV on the eve of Roma vs. Inter

MILAN - On the eve of Roma vs. Inter on matchday 7 of the Primavera 1 TIM season, ArmandoMadonna had this to say to Inter TV:

“We reviewed the match against Juventus to assess the mistakes made, but also to look at the positives. We need to start again by focusing on these and preparing in the best way possible. Obviously, we know that we must remain focused right up until the final whistle and our support off the bench is key. The aim is to keep growing.

As for whether their upcoming UEFA Youth League commitments will affect his team selection against Roma, Madonna added: “I try to play my best team thinking about things game by game. This team needs consistency and certainty, and this comes also from team selections. The focus is solely on the match against Roma, a team that plays well and scores plenty of goals. We are preparing to the best of our ability, and we’ll need to stay focused.

As for the tight standings in the league, the tactician concluded: “We’re looking for consistency over the entire 90 minutes. The standings do not represent a problem for us. I want to see my team grow and improve game by game. Obviously, we should be in a better position, however, we must keep believing in our ability. The results will come once we’ve achieved this.”
