De La Fuente's side made it five from five in the league as Marinelli netted a brace after Pandini opened the scoring against Cesena

SEDRIANO - Sebastian De La Fuente’s team keep winning after the 3-0 triumph against Cesena on matchday 5 in Serie B. The fifth win from as many games was secured by a Marinelli brace and Pandini goal.

The match got off to a very even start with Inter looking to control the game while Cesena were structured at the back and looked to play on the break, especially through Porcarelli. The intensity increase over time and De La Furente’s team registered a first shot on target in the 20th minute when Pacini saved from Regazzoli. Inter would take the lead ten minutes later when Pandini converted from a perfect corner from Brustia. At the end of the half, Brustia tried her luck with a long-range strike that went wide.

The Nerazzurre were dominant in the second half, attacking but without finding the goal to make it 2-0. The biggest chance fell for Costi who was alone in front of the goalkeeper but the shot went straight down the middle. In the 70th minute, the substitute Marinelli made it 2-0, firing past Picini after a brilliant Pandini through-ball. Eleven minutes from the end, Marinelli bagged her second. There were further chances at the end but the scoreline remained Inter 3-0 Cesena.
