Javier Zanetti honoured as 'Ambasciatore della Grande Milano nel Mondo 2018'

MILAN - “It’s a great feeling to receive a prestigious prize like this. Fortunately, I’ve received many throughout my career, but to receive it here in Milan, where I consider my home, is something special.” This was what JavierZanetti had to say on stage in the Washington Room at the Marriott Hotel in Milan, as he was honoured with an award for being Ambassador for the City of Milan – "Ambasciatore della Grande Milano nel Mondo 2018".

“I was born in Argentina but I feel Italian and this is thanks to the city of Milan,” the Nerazzurri vice-president added. “I am the father of three children born in Milan – three children who are all Italian and Interisti. I am really proud to be Milanese. I love the city of Milan and Inter and I always take them with me to every part of the world. The city has adopted me, welcomed me and helped me become an Interista.”
