Keita: "It was important to win today, we're a good team"

MILAN - Keita Balde spoke to Inter TV and live on Facebook after scoring two goals and providing an assist. "It was very important to win today after what happened in Bergamo, it was a good night for me and the whole team."

"It’s important for a player to have the trust of his coach and teammates, I worked well seeing as I didn’t go on international duty and this could be seen today. We were together and focused from the start to get the win.

"We’re a great team, a brilliant group. Those who are unavailable give their support from afar. It was one of the most emotional goals of my career, to score at San Siro in front of our fans was wonderful.

"By working together, we can go far. It won’t be easy in the Champions League against Tottenham Hotspur because they’re a good team. But, we are Inter and we’ll go there with our heads held high and without fear."
