Useful information and advice for fans travelling to London to watch the Nerazzurri against Tottenham on Wednesday in the UEFA Champions League


MILAN - The matchday five UEFA Champions League fixture between Tottenham Hotspur and Inter will take place at Wembley on Wednesday 28 November, with kick-off scheduled for 20:00 CET. Here’s all our useful information for the away journey.

 

Fan assistance As with every away game, club representatives will be present at the Wembley entrance, however, fans are reminded that they will not be able to help you enter the stadium should you not have the necessary documents with you (proof of identity and ticket).

In case of emergency, you can call the Consulate General: 0044 (0) 7850 752 895 (available from Monday to Friday – 18:00 CET to 22:00: during public holidays from 09:00 to 22:00).

 

Useful information on getting to London:

Heathrow is the city’s main airport, located around 30km to the west of the city. The quickest way to reach the city is via the Heathrow Express (travel time 15 minutes from Paddington). Otherwise, you can take the Piccadilly line towards the city centre which takes around an hour. There are also bus transfers and taxis available at the airport.

From Gatwick airport, the quickest way to reach the city is via the Gatwick Express. This departs every 15 minutes with a journey time of around 35 minutes. There are also bus transfers available.

From Stansted, you can take the Stansted Express, which takes around 45 minutes to get to Liverpool Street.

 

Passports, visas and health insurance

Passports/Identity cards are required for entry into the United Kingdom. Documents must still be valid. The country is in the EU.

Italian-style paper ID cards with the stamps from the local council often cause delays and can be rejected at the border. It is recommended that documents are checked to ensure they’re not damaged before travel.

  • It’s necessary to have all the required documentation for travel and access to Wembley.

  • Bring a EHIC card or take out insurance in the case that you may require medical assistance.

 

Currency

Pound Sterling is the currency with 100 pence adding up to a pound. Notes come in denominations of £5, £10, £20 and £50. Coins are 1p, 2p, 5p, 10p, 20p and 50p and then £1 or £2.

 

Personal Security

As in all large cities, caution is advised to avoid pickpockets, especially around airports, stations, public transport and in the centre.

It is recommended that you make a copy of your ID and leave it in a secure place should you lose your documents.

 

Useful Phone Numbers:

The emergency services can be reached on 999. Should you not speak English well, you can request to speak in different languages on the European number 112.

The Metropolitan Police can be contacted for non-emergency issues on 101. British Transport Police can be called on 0800 40 50 40.

Pickpocketing can be reported to British Transport Police (0800 40 50 40) while thefts on buses can be reported to the Metropolitan Police Service (101). For more information, check  http://www.btp.police.uk/pickpockets/.

 

Wembley - How to get there

The stadium can be reached on public transport and is near to three stations

Wembley Park - On the Metropolitan line or the Jubilee line

Wembley Central - On the Bakerloo or via London Overground

Wembley Stadium - Served by Chiltern Railway services

The away section is the in the south-east corner of the stadium, covering Blocks 112 to 119.

 

Entry to the stadium is from Entrance C/Turnstile C

Gates open from 18:30.

Access to Wembley

Italian citizens can only go in the away section and access will be denied for those with home tickets. Fans in home sections will be denied access and unable to go into the away end.

 

Entry:

We advise you to arrive in good time in order to have sufficient time to pass through security checks.

A new security policy is now in force regarding bags.

No-bag policy

All bags larger than a sheet of A4 piece of paper cannot be taken into the stadium.

 

Ticket collection

All the fans who have bought away tickets from inter.it/trasferte who haven’t picked them up from San Siro can collect them from the East Ticket Office on the day of the match where there will be a specific

Warning: No tickets are still on sale, this procedure is for those who need to collect tickets that they have already bought.

An identity document and the confirmation purchase mail will be required to collect the ticket.

The East Ticket Office at Wembley is by the main entrance on Level B1 and can be reached from Olympic Way (Wembley Way).

Once you have reached the stadium walking done Olympic Way, go left and follow signs for the East Ticket Office.

 

Security Checks

The following items/behaviour is banned

- Weapon possession

- The wearing or possession of masks/balaclavas

  • The display of flags/banners with logos linked to associations that promote discrimination of any kind (racial, religious, sexual, etc) or that promote violence.

  • The promotion of violence of any kind

- The possession or use of any explosive or pyrotechnic material.

- Climbing fences and entering the pitch or any other prohibited areas.

A video-surveillance system is in action both inside and outside the stadium.

 

The following items are prohibited:

- Weapons

- Pyrotechnics

- Professional cameras or video equipment

- Glasses, glass bottles or cans

- Laser pointers

- Spray cans

- Megaphones

- Balaclavas

- Animals

- Large banners or flags (over 2mt.)

- Symbols connected to racism and discrimination

 

Bag Storage

A bag-drop is available by the Yellow Parking area (see the map above)

 

Leaving the stadium

After the match, supporters can leave from Gate C with no delays.

The Police reserve the right to delay the away fans to ensure the safety of all fans should it be required.

Please follow the instructions of security personnel to make the process easier.

 

 

 

 

 

"No bag policy"

A Wembley vige una nuova normativa di sicurezza per quanto riguarda l'accesso allo stadio con borse e zaini.

Tutte le borse e gli zaini più grandi di un foglio A4 (altezza 297mm, larghezza 210, profondità 210mm) non saranno ammessi all'interno di Wembley.

 

Ritiro biglietti

Tutti i tifosi che hanno acquistato il biglietto del settore ospiti (tramite la procedura presente sul nostro sito: inter.it/trasferte) e non l'hanno ritirato a San Siro, potranno ritirare il loro biglietto, il giorno partita, presso uno sportello dedicato alla biglietteria EAST TICKET OFFICE, in uno sportello dedicato.

Attenzione: non ci sono più biglietti disponibili, questa procedura é valida solo per chi ha già acquistato il biglietto precedentemente.

Senza il documento d'identità e la mail di conferma d'acquisto del biglietto non sarà possibile ritirare il biglietto.

La biglietteria EST (EAST TICKET OFFICE) di Wembley si trova proprio vicino all'ingresso principale (collocato a NORD, raggiungibile tramite la Olimpic Way) al piano mezzanino (Level B1).

 

Camminando lungo la Olimpic Way in direzione stadio, una volta raggiunto il livello mezzanino dovrete svoltare a sinistra e seguire le indicazioni per EAST TICKET OFFICE.

 

 

Controlli di sicurezza

Gli steward e gli addetti alla sicurezza saranno inflessibili in caso di atti di violenza e teppismo sia all'interno che all'esterno dello stadio.

Vi ricordiamo che é vietato:

- il possesso di qualsiasi tipologia di arma.

- l'utilizzo ed il possesso di maschere/passamontagna.

- mostrare striscioni/bandiere con loghi di assocazioni che incoraggiano la discriminazione (di qualsiasi carattere: etnico, religioso, sessuale) o che incoraggino atti di violenza.

- Incoraggiare la violenza in qualsiasi maniera.

- Possedere, lanciare o utilizzare in qualsiasi modo materiali esplosivi o infiammabili (petardi).

- Arrampicarsi o scavalcare le recinzioni ed entrare in campo o in altre aree riservarte.

Ricordate che é presente un sistema di video-sorveglianza a circuito chiuso sia all'interno che all'esterno dello stadio.

E' severamente vietato introdurre allo stadio:

- Armi - Petardi/fuochi d'artificio - Fotocamere e videocamere professionali - Bicchieri di vetro, bottiglie o lattine - Puntatori laser - Bombolette spray - Megafoni - Passamontagna - Animali - Striscioni o bandiere di grandi dimensioni (superiori ai 2mt.) - Simboli che inneggino al razzismo o alla discriminazione

 

Deposito bagagli

E' disponibile un deposito bagagli nelle adiacenze del parcheggio 'Yellow Parking' (vedi mappa sopra).

 

Deflusso Post-match

Al termine dell'incontro potrete lasciare il settore ospiti tramite il gate C (lo stesso dell'entrata) senza dovere aspettare ulteriormente.

In caso di necessità la Polizia potrebbe decidere di posticipare il deflusso del settore ospiti per preservare la sicurezza di tutti i tifosi.

Vi preghiamo di collaborare con tutti gli addetti alla sicurezza per facilitare il deflusso.
