Borja Valero: "We put in a good performance and it was a shame to concede"

LONDON - BorjaValero had this to say to Sky after Tottenham Hotspur’s 1-0 win over Inter on Matchday 5 of the UEFA Champions League: “It’s a tough defeat, but we put in a good performance. It’s a shame that we conceded a goal right at the end which sends us home without any points.

“Both teams tried to score and the result could’ve gone to either side. In the end, it fell in their favour."

As for their hopes of qualification, Valero added: “We must play our own game against PSV and focus on ourselves, then we’ll see what will happen. Let’s hope all goes well but it won’t be easy.”
