Inter completed a 4-2 comeback at the Enfield Training Ground, with Madonna's side now still with a chance of making it to the knockout rounds

LONDON - The Nerazzurri Under-19’s secured a crucial win over Tottenham Hotspur on Wednesday afternoon, during which they kept their hopes of UEFA Youth League qualification alive. After the match, Armando Madonna, Tybo Persin and Davide Merola all spoke to Inter TV.

Armando Madonna: “We put in a good performance, particularly during the second half when we created chances and defended well. Today, I liked the team’s character. Merola and Colidio both did very well, putting in solid performances. My players need confidence and good results help them work better. I am pleased that qualification is still up for grabs in our last match, the lads deserve it.”

Tybo Persin: “I’m really pleased to have been involved in the last two matches. They have been two big wins that’ll help us along our path. I am working hard in training to ensure that I’m ready when called upon. Putting on the Inter shirt is always a great feeling.”

Davide Merola: “Today’s victory gives us confidence, even in regard to the league. My backheel goal was pure instinct and came from my ‘weak’ foot. Our attitude has been different from the first matches and the results are proving this. We must continue on this path.”
