The Under-19 Nerazzurri side completed a fantastic comeback to win on Wednesday afternoon, as they now still have a chance to qualifying

LONDON - At Hotspur Way in Enfield, Inter showed great character to come back from 2-1 down to win thanks to goals from Roric, Merola and Colidio.

The first chance of the game fell to Inter with Persyn playing it in from the right to Schirò who fired over. Madonna’s side found some joy down the flanks and opened the scoring after 12 minutes. Corrado played in a through-ball for Persyn who made no mistake with the finish. The Under-19s let up slightly and Spurs were able to turn the result around with two goals in two minutes. First Parrott equalised with a great strike from outside the box. Soon after, Roles turned in a rebound with his head to make it 2-1 after Dekic saved. Inter looked to respond immediately with a good strike from Colidio that went wide of Austin’s goal. At the end of the half, the Nerazzurri’s goalkeeper made two good saves to stop it from becoming 3-1.

Tottenham started the second half strongly, with Makanday skipping past two men early on to force a good save from Dekic. However, the Nerazzurri U19s grew as the game wore on, soon equalising through Roric in the 63rd minute. Still on the front foot, Inter then had a good chance to regain the lead but an effort from Colidio was blocked. Parrott then struck the post in response soon after. The 82nd minute saw further drama, as substitute Merola scored Inter’s third with a fantastic backheel. Tottenham sought to get back into it on the counter-attack, however, a fourth from Colidio settled it. Inter triumphed 4-2, duly keeping their hopes of qualification alive.
