The Nerazzurri's CEO Sport spoke to Sky Sport: "We are facing a side who are in a good run of form. However, the final result depends on us"

VERONA Giuseppe Marotta, Inter’s new CEO Sport, was interviewed by Sky Sport just minutes before Inter vs. ChievoVerona:

"We have to take it one game at a time, always keeping our concentration levels high. Irrespective of their league position, ChievoVerona are in a good patch of form under the guidance of Di Carlo and are capable of causing us problems. However, the final result depends only on us."

The transfer window was inevitably talked about: "You don’t get a lot of chances to do business in January. We’ve got a squad full of quality and therefore it’ll be very difficult to pull something sensational out of the bag. The owners want to improve the squad in terms of its quality, its experience and its character, and this is what we’ll try to do in the summer. We now have to make the most of the resources we have at our disposal to qualify for the Champions League.

"The club’s priority must be to achieve significant sporting results again and start to lift trophies once more," he continued. "This is the only way the club’s commercial results will improve."
