Armando Madonna's U-19s went on the attack but fell against Toro with Millico, De Angelis, Rauti and Djoulou on the scoresheet

TURIN - On matchday 13 in the Primavera 1 TIM season, Torino beat Inter 4-0. The Granata certainly deserved their win although the scoreline was somewhat harsh on the Nerazzurri who were unable to make the most of a number of chances. Millico, De Angelis, Rauti and Djoulou scored the goals to give the home side three important points. The Inter U-19s will now have some time off over the Christmas period before returning to action against league leaders Atalanta.

Inter saw most of the ball in the opening exchanges while Torino were tidy at the back as they looked to play on the break. After two good chances for the Nerazzurri, Torino took the lead in the ninth minute after the ball fell to Millico in the box and he got away from Zappa before firing beyond Tintori. Armando Madonna’s side looked to strike back immediately and Salcedo was unable to make the most of a chance from a great position. The Nerazzurri were dictating the tempo but unable to convert. In the 40th minute, a shot-cum-cross from Millico hit the bar. With time running out in the first half, Salcedo played a great ball for Colidio who controlled it well but he was unable to beat Trombini from close range and Torino went into the break 1-0 up.

The second half began with Inter on the attack. In the 51st minute, Persyn fired over with the goal gaping. Two minutes later, De Angelis punished Inter with a strike inside the penalty box to make it 2-0. Tibo Persyn had another chance in the 56th minute but his effort went wide. In the 60th minute, Rauti made the most of mistake at the back from Rozzo to add a third that killed the game. At the end, Torino added a fourth through Djoulou to claim the three points in the final fixture of 2018.
