Thursday 20 December saw Inter bring Christmas cheer to children in local hospitals

MILAN - Javier Zanetti and four Nerazzurri players recently took part in an initiative together with the club’s Official Bank and Top Partner – Crédit Agricole. Lautaro Martinez, Stefan De Vrij, Keita Balde and Raffaele Di Gennaro teamed up with individuals from the Primavera side and Inter Women to spend an afternoon with over 300 children from local children’s hospitals: Mangiagalli-De Marchi, Niguarda, Istituto Tumori in Milan and Centro Maria Letizia Verga. This chance for Christmas cheer was also attended by employees of FC Internazionale Milano and Crédit Agricole.

“This is a really commendable and special initiative,” said the Nerazzurri Vice-President. “Christmas is almost upon us and many children all around the world will, unfortunately, be spending it fighting ills that affect them. Therefore, the Nerazzurri family wanted to put a smile on some of their faces, bringing moments of joy and strength to help these children recover as quickly as possible, hopeful that they can enjoy the childhood that they deserve. This is the strength of a club like ours and today’s gesture was extremely important – one that we hope to repeat often.”

Corporate Social Responsibility has always been of primary importance to the club, one that still continues to show their commitment and support to those in need.
