Sala's Inter finish in second at La Liga Promises competition

The players born in 2006 finished as runners-up after Real Madrid won on penalties. Mattia Pisoni was named as the best goalkeeper


TENERIFE - The Nerazzurri’s wonderful experience at the La Liga Promises tournament ended yesterday for the Under-12s. After winning one (1-0 against Benfica) and drawing two (1-1 with Atletico Madrid and 0-0 against Villarreal) in the group stage, Marco Sala’s side beat Valencia (1-0) and PSG (3-1) before only falling in the final to Real Madrid. The final ended 1-1 with the Spanish side winning 2-1 on penalties.

Inter’s Mattia Pisoni was named as the best goalkeeper of the competition.
