De Vrij: "We needed to be more ruthless"

MILAN – Dutch defender Stefan De Vrij analysed Inter’s home draw against Sassuolo as follows: "We faced a good side tonight who played well. Handanovic is an excellent player and saved us on a few occasions. For us, it’s important to have a goalkeeper like him watching our backs. We played well, but a goal and perhaps a bit of ruthlessness were missing from our game. However, they demonstrated that they’re a tough side to play. They are dangerous on the counter and we had to remain alert. Now we have to prepare well for our match against Torino. It was great seeing the children in the stadium – although the atmosphere was different, they made themselves heard."
