The former Spanish attacker who won the league twice, Intercontinental Cup twice and European Cup once at Inter turns 83 today

MILAN - He spent two seasons with the Nerazzurri in the era of Helenio Herrera’s Grande Inter, winning the Scudetto twice, Intercontinental Cup twice and European Cup once. He scored 16 goals in 47 appearances, including an unforgettable goal against Liverpool in a European Cup semi-final in 1965.
