Ahead of the next mission to Managua, Inter Campus welcomed Nicaragua's Minister for Tourism, the Ambassador to Italy and the Honorary Consul

MILAN - On Monday 11th February, Inter Campus received welcome visitors in Anasha Campbell who is the Minister for Tourism in Nicaragua, the Nicaraguan Ambassador to Italy Monica Robelo and the Honorary Consul Lorenzo Alderisio. The delegation was in Milan for the Borsa Internazionale del Turismo (BIT) and they made most of it by also meeting the Director General of Inter Futura Edoardo Caldara to reaffirm the desire of local Nicaraguan institutions to continue in their support of the Nerazzurri’s project.

Inter Campus Nicaragua has been active in Managua since 2014 where it works in collaboration with the Nicaragua Joven association and the Centre de Audicion e Integracion Escolar (C.A.I.E.) in order to offer social reintegration and education for a hundred boys and girls from disadvantaged parts of the capital. With yesterday’s visit, the organisations which have always paid great attention to the goings on at the project, confirmed how our project is a vital element in the development of the children involved.

The meeting ended with a visit to the Inter trophy room where the delegation could admire all the silverware won over the years by the team. The Minister for Tourism also confirmed that she will be in attendance for the next Inter Campus mission in Managua between 4 and 9 March.
