MILAN - At 18:00 CET on Sunday, Inter will take on Sampdoria on matchday 24 in Serie A TIM. In collaboration with Opta, here are all the stats and trivia for our upcoming match.

The clash at the Meazza will be No.124 between the two teams, with the Nerazzurri boasting 66 previous wins to the Blucerchiati’s 20. There have also been 37 draws.

Inter have triumphed in each of their last three matches against Sampdoria, scoring an average of three goals a game and keeping clean sheets on two occasions.

In total, the Nerazzurri have registered 12 clean sheets this season, second only to Liverpool in Europe’s top five leagues. However, Inter do boast the best defensive record in the first half of matches. Among Europe’s elite specifically is Milan Skriniar, who’s the defender who has recovered most balls since his arrival at Inter.

Ivan Perisic scored his first Serie A goal against Sampdoria in October 2015, while Danilo D’Ambrosio also opened his Nerazzurri account against the Blucerchiati. This came on 20 February 2016, with Joao Miranda also scoring his only Serie A goal during the same game.

Milan Skriniar’s first 38 Serie A appearances were made with Sampdoria from 2015 to 2017.

Luciano Spalletti has won seven of his last 11 previous clashes against Marco Giampaolo, securing a total of 12 wins against Sampdoria in the league. As for Giampaolo, he has recorded four losses and one victory in five previous games against Inter.
