Inter Women, Pasqui: "A group of fantastic girls"

MILAN - The ongoing international break today gave Ilaria Pasqui, Inter’s Women’s Football Project Manager, the chance to discuss the recent success of #InterWomen. The Nerazzurre are currently top by 14 points having won all 15 of their matches so far: “The girls’ journey so far has been almost perfect. The hope is that they can now keep this up until the end of the season. There’s no real secret behind the results: it’s a combination of application, self-sacrifice and quality on behalf of the players and staff.

“They’re a group of fantastic girls. Many of them have known each other for some time after coming through the Nerazzurri’s Elite Academy. This represents the base of further understanding in the dressing room. The results have also strengthened the great bond that already exists.”

As for the remainder of this season, Pasqui continued: “We aim to continue in the same fashion. Only by maintaining this approach can we keep achieving great results. I always like to think that we can achieve the maximum. I hope that the girls can continue in the same manner and that the technical staff keep up the incredible work that they’ve been doing since the start of the season.”
