De La Fuente's side made it 19 wins from 19 with goals from Marinelli (x2), D'Adda, Rognoni and Costi


SEDRIANO - Sebastian De La Fuente’s Inter beat Roma CF 5-2 to make it 19 wins from as many games. Marinelli scored two in addition to D’Adda, Rognoni and Costi goals. The Nerazzurre’s magnificent run continues with Inter top on 57 points with 72 goals scored and just 8 conceded.

Roma started the game well and took the lead after just two minutes, Barbieri beating Capelletti with a powerful effort. Inter levelled in the 14th minute from a D’Adda free kick from midfield which caught Guidi out. Two minutes later, the Nerazzurre completed the comeback. Baresi played it to Rognoni who squared the ball to Marinelli who made no mistake. The visitors restored parity in the 20th minute from the spot after a foul on Pellens before Polverino converted from the spot. Inter finished the half with the lead, Locatelli played a free kick in the 32nd minute with Marinelli making it 3-2 thanks to a brilliant volley.

In the second half, Inter extended the lead with Rognoni converting from a Marinelli assist. With time running down, Costi made it 5-2 with a magnificent shot from outside the area. Sebastian De La Fuente’s Nerazzurre beat Roma to make it 19 straight wins.
