The Nerazzurri's Sport CEO speaking to DAZN prior to Genoa vs. Inter

GENOA - The Nerazzurri’s Sport CEO Giuseppe Marotta spoke to DAZN just minutes before kick-off in Genoa vs. Inter: “Icardi’s return to the team has been achieved thanks to his application and professionalism in training. It’s now time to put everything behind us and look to the present and the future with great optimism. We must act as a team with the aim of winning. We must put aside any possible tensions because we want to send a strong message: no the culture of excuses.

“My relationship with Spalletti is great, just like it is with all aspects of the club. There is contact between the hierarchy and the coach on a daily basis. I support the technical area based on my responsibility and experience. Winning is something that’s achieved by everyone.”
