Celebrating International Day of Sport for Development and Peace

— Apr 6th 2019Inter Campus are today taking part in the special day proclaimed by the United Nations, with activities organised all around the world
From the Suning Youth Development Centre in memory of Giacinto Facchetti to centres around the world – our Nerazzurri project has spread to the likes of Congo’s Lubumbashi, Cuba, the Shatila refugee camp in Lebanon, Eastern Europe, Ramla and among the Zapatista community.
Coinciding with the International Day of Sport for Development and Peace, Inter Campus has teamed up with local partners to organise a whole host of activities. These are aimed at celebrating sporting values, whether that be team spirit, loyalty, discipline, respect for the opposition and playing by the rules – as well as promoting social cohesion and living together peacefully.
During Inter vs. Atalanta on Sunday 7 April, the players will take to the pitch wearing a special shirt with a unique patch directed to this specific day and its values.
