Regina Baresi: "A goal achieved by fighting together"

MILAN - Regina Baresi today spoke to Inter TV following Inter Women’s incredible campaign: “Our analysis is extremely positive. We were promoted to Serie A, where next year we’ll play with great determination.”

As for what made her most proud this season, Baresi didn’t hesitate: “Being captain of a group that’s become a squad. We all battled together to reach our goal. That is the best feeling.”

Lastly, she discussed her favourite moment of the season: “The final whistle against Arezzo was the most emotional. The Derby in the Coppa Italia was also important because we demonstrated that we can compete against the biggest teams. That match made us aware of our strength. We have plenty of desire to compete against the best and we hope that next year’s derby will be Nerazzurro.”
