De Vrij: "Our defensive solidity depends on the work of the whole team"

UDINE – Dutch defender Stefan De Vrij commented on the Nerazzurri’s performance in their draw away to Udinese as follows: "The secret to having such a solid defence are the teammates that we have in front of us –they protect us. We defend as a team, our full-backs and midfielders all help us. We didn’t give a lot away today, our defensive performance wasn’t bad. We talk a lot amongst ourselves and work on covering each other, something which is important against a team like the Friulani, who play on the counter. We’re disappointed with the result because we wanted to win, what we did tonight wasn’t enough. Unfortunately, we were missing a goal."
