2026 Winter Olympics go to Milan - Cortina, congratulations from Inter

MILAN - A historic day for the future of Italy as a whole. The 2026 Winter Olympics will be hosted by Italy in Milan and Cortina d'Ampezzo. 

In Lausanne, the International Olympic Committee assigned the 2026 Games to the joint-bid from Milan and Cortina ahead of the Swedish bid from Stockholm-Åre.

It promises to be an exciting event and momentous occasion for the city of Milan, which will host the opening ceremony.
