Marotta: "Conte has passion and enthusiasm, we're confident about the squad"

MILAN - At the event to announce the 2019-20 Serie A TIM fixtures, Sport CEO Giuseppe Marotta spoke to Sky Sport. “It’ll be a different season with eight or nine new coaches.”

Then he discussed the Nerazzurri Coach: “Conte has brought great enthusiasm, passion and a culture of hard work. They’re all important elements. Inter is a Club with a strong heritage and this combination will take us far. What Conte has said is to be respected and shared, he shows great passion and it’s right for coaches to be demanding so that they can work even better. We’re confident that we can build a competitive squad that lives up to the history of the Club.”

Finally on the transfer market: “Our owners are very strong but rightly, we must respect certain parameters.  We need to take opportunities but we’re confident. We’ve made excellent investments and we’re moving ahead with our work.“
