Gagliardini: "We go again with great enthusiasm"

LUGANO – The team have completed their first double session of the season on their training camp in Lugano. And midfielder Roberto Gagliardini has uttered his first words of the campaign to Inter TV: "We’ve started strongly. It will be a week where we get our fitness levels back up again, but the first day has been excellent. After the holidays, I’m really happy to start again, there’s great enthusiasm. We’ve got a new coach, there are new teammates and I’m really happy to begin the new season.

"There’s great desire to accomplish something here: we’ll train well and want to understand what the Coach asks of us immediately. On Sunday, we’ll play a friendly against Lugano and then it’ll be time for the Asia tour. All the ingredients are there to do well this season. There are a lot of young players here on the training camp, then our teammates away on international duty will join up with the squad. In general, there’s a lot of desire to work hard and be with the group."
