The midfielder after his debut goal: "We need to keep our intensity up all game"

MILAN - Stefano Sensi enjoyed a debut to remember after he scored the goal to make it 2-0 during the 4-0 win against Lecce. The midfielder described how it felt to Inter TV. “I’m really happy for the goal in front of our fans,” he said. “It was important to win with such a big and passionate crowd, I’m happy because I think that we repaid them with a good performance.”

Sensi then analysed the match: “We played with a very high tempo in the opening minutes and then dropped off. We work on this, to maintain our intensity across 90 minutes. I’m happy for the team’s performance but our aim is always to do something more. It’s now time for Cagliari and they’re an aggressive side. I feel good with Brozovic, our characteristics allow us to play well together.”
