A new partnership has come into being ahead of the new season

MILAN – FC Internazionale Milano and Linkem SpA, a leading provider of wireless broadband internet services, have put pen to paper on a partnership agreement for the 2019/2020 season.

Linkem will join forces with the Nerazzurri as the Club’s Connecting Partner, a title that adds to the broader ‘Partner of the Future’ programme already launched over the past few seasons by Linkem with the aim of contributing to the development of young, talented players – both men and women – at major Italian clubs. Linkem has always promoted connectivity thanks to its utilisation of fixed wireless technology and a proprietary network. Connectivity will be one of the main pillars of Linkem’s partnership with FC Internazionale Milano, with special initiatives set to be announced over the course of the season. Linkem has been providing fans and football lovers with unique opportunities for several years: over 3000 customers have been able to watch exciting matches and unique moments thanks to the Italian telecommunications company.

“We’re delighted to announce this new partnership,” said Alessandro Antonello, CEO Corporate of FC Internazionale Milano. “Linkem is a fast-growing, dynamic company that is able to efficiently communicate with younger generations, just like Inter. We are certain that the values that our two brands share will allow us to achieve big results together. As a result of this agreement, we’ll be able to carry out various projects that, thanks to the networks built up by Linkem and Inter, will guarantee many Nerazzurri fans special offers and unique experiences, including in direct contact with the team.”

Davide Rota, Linkem’s founder and CEO, had this to say: “We’re proud to announce this collaboration with Inter. The intention is to connect passion, regions and technology. We do this through our network, connecting different people and stories; Inter do this through football, uniting people, different eras and cultures.”

For Linkem, becoming Inter’s Connecting Partner is part of a nationwide, strategic policy as the company looks to increasingly grow in major areas of the country. Today, Linkem provides a service to more than 650,000 people, while its network covers over 65% of the Italian population.
