The Belgian forward after the match against Slavia: "Our performance wasn't good"

MILAN - Following Inter’s draw at home to Slavia Prague in the Champions League, Romelu Lukaku had the following to say to Inter TV: “The first half was really difficult: Slavia played with a great amount of physicality. We tried to score in the final 20 minutes but didn’t perform well day, first and foremost because we didn’t win. Further work needs to be done this week.”

Lukaku played despite a slight back problem: “I could feel it somewhat this morning, but I’ll train with the group on Wednesday. We need to work daily to reach the objectives that have been set. We also need to go down a path in keeping with such an ambitious club. Everyone who plays Inter needs to think that they’re in for a difficult game, we’ll be prepared for this.”
