The Nerazzurri defender: “We'll fight as a team for the three points"

MILAN – Ahead of the big match against Juventus, Danilo D’Ambrosio spoke to Mediaset. “There’s a development process, we’re looking to put all of the Coach’s instructions into practice. At the moment, following the Barcelona game there is anger and disappointment at not winning which we always want to do. We always look to get the best result so that we don’t have any regrets. Juventus have eleven high quality players. Ronaldo is the star but there’s a team behind him that allows him to express himself at his best. We can take them on because I focus on our work, our coach and our strengths. Juventus and Napoli have been more used to winning in recent years and this is the gap that exists between us.”

On Antonio Conte on the group: “Conte struck me with his way of working, how he prepares for matches, coaches and involves all of the players and he absolutely is an extra asset. Lukaku is a different player to our other forwards. He’s strong and you know that there’s a player who can hold the ball up higher in times of difficulty. Sensi and Barella are two Italy players and Inter certainly did well to get them. Sensi surprised me because I didn’t think that he was so strong.”

Finally, on his and the team’s improvement. “I’m someone who looks to surprise people by working at my best every day, I don’t care about what happened before but I want to do something in the present and I’m looking to work so that I can. As a team, we’re going through a process of growth in order to win as many games as possible and our aim now is to get the three points.”
