The two Nerazzurri players took part in a friendly as La Celeste played Peru at the Estadio Centenario in Montevideo

MONTEVIDEO - It was a good test for Uruguay, and also for Diego Godin and Matias Vecino, who were among those playing in a friendly held at the Estadio Centenario in Montevideo. The game was against Peru and ended in a 1-0 victory for La Celeste.

Both Nerazzurri players were selected in Coach Tabarez’s starting line-up: Godin played all 90 minutes and wore the captain’s armband. Vecino was withdrawn in the 67th minute, having already provided the assist for Brian Rodriguez’s decisive goal.
